Important Tips:Please read all the following before order.
1.The high performance controller with custom firmware (55km version) :
1)You can use it directly after installation without any additional configuration.
2)You can connect to the Segway-Ninebot APP and bind your account,after installing the controller,please unbind the old vehicle first, then add the new device,so that the new controller will be bound to your account.
Please noted that this is a custom controller, most of the settings are fixed and can not be modified in the Segway-Ninebot APP.
3)On the MAX G2 series scooter, the maximum no-load speed can reach around 55-60km/h.
The maximum actual riding speed is about 42-46km/h at battery level 100% .
Due to potential variations in motor performance across different countries, the maximum speed of the MAX G2 scooter may differ. For instance, the U.S. market version reportedly features the most powerful motor configuration, with some American customers claiming their actual speeds have exceeded 50 km/h with this controller(We're not sure if it's because they're so light weight so the speed is so fast).On the contrary, customers in Germany reported that their maximum speed was mostly 40-43 km/h.
4)The actual riding max speed is affected by many factors like the playfield,battery level,especially the battery level and weight of the rider,the lighter the rider, the fast the max riding speed.
The following is a table that you can read and refer to to estimate your actual riding maximum speed in different battery level. Please noted that the data is for reference only,because the actual ridding max speed will be affected by many factors.

5)The default "Sport" model maximum speed is fixed to unlimited,motor starting speed is fixed at 1km/h,energy recovery is fixed at weak, etc....Please noted that most of settings are fixed and can not be modified in the Segway-Ninebot APP.
6)Cruise control activation is fixed to holding the accelerator for 10 seconds.
Holding the accelerator while turning on the scooter, the cruise control will be turned off at this ride.
7)External battery connection available:Using a simple XT60 Y-cable, connecting the internal battery, external 36V battery and this controller, the riding range will be greatly increased.
8)Low-speed mode: Hold the brake handle when turning on the scooter, the scooter will enter low-speed mode, the maximum actual speed of "S" Mode is 18km/h, the actual maximum speed of "D" mode is 15km/h, and the actual maximum speed of ECO mode is 10km/h.
Restarting the scooter will restore high speed mode.
In some countries and regions, please pay attention to traffic regulations and use low speed mode.
9)After riding for a long time in Sport mode, if the scooter can not be turned off, you only need to wait a few minutes to let the scooter temperature drop naturally.

2.The high performance controller with original firmware(40km version) :

1)The 40km controller comes with all original Ninebot firmware, Ninebot original program, and all the APP functions are OK in Android phone.But the Findmy function may not work on Apple iPhones,if you have any question please send messages to us.
2)You can connect to the Segway-Ninebot APP and bind your account,after installing the controller,please unbind the old vehicle first, then add the new device,so that the new controller will be bound to your account.
3)Normally you will be able to use it directly after installation. If you want to check the setting of 40km/h, please link to Segway-Ninebot App,change the setting of "Sport model"on,and set max speed to 40km/h,change to "Boost/N2O Acceleration"mode.
4)With the 40km controller,the maximum no-load speed can reach around 40km/h.
5)The maximum actual riding speed is about 38-40km/h at battery level 100%.As the battery power decreases, its power and maximum speed will also decrease.
The actual riding max speed is affected by many factors like the playfield,battery level,especially the battery level and weight of the rider,the lighter the rider, the fast the max riding speed.
6)Please noted that the 40km controller does not include any custom features, such as low speed mode, external battery connection, etc.
7)If you have any questions during use the 40km controller, please feel free to contact us and we will solve the problem for you.
1.If you want to pursue the ultimate acceleration performance, please choose the 55km version, which has strong acceleration performance,even the battery level is low at 15%, it can still run with a faster speed at 36-39km/h,
and it comes with a low-speed mode to cope with traffic regulations,Connection with external battery available,etc. But since it is a custom controller, many settings are fixed and cannot be modified in the Ninebot APP, such as cruise control, motor start speed, etc.
2.If you prefer to modify settings in the Ninebot App, you may consider choosing the 40km version, which comes with complete original firmware and you can modify settings in the Ninebot App.But its speed and power are not strong enough,it can run at a speed of nearly 40km/h only at the battery level 100%, and its max speed will even drop to 30km/h when the battery is low.
3.So that we recommend the 55km version G2 controller,it should bring you more riding pleasure.
